Combe Estate – Shooting Day

Description

Richard Marker of Combe Estate is delighted to offer two guns for a day’s driven shooting in the wonderful East Devon Countryside.

Combe is a 4000-acre country estate surrounding the picturesque village of Gittisham.

The estate operates a traditional driven pheasant and partridge shoot and is renowned for its fine hospitality.  Drives are out of woodland and cover crops, and we aim to provide sporting birds for all abilities.

Your day will begin at the shoot lodge where you will be welcomed by Richard and his team to draw pegs and discuss the plan for the day ahead.

The day will consist of four or five drives with an anticipated bag of between 200 and 250 birds.  Ample in field refreshments will be provided before returning to the shoot lodge for a hearty home cooked shoot meal with fine wines.

*** Successful bidder will need to have experienced shot and carry third party liability insurance (we can arrange) through membership of the BASC, countryside alliance or similar if required. ***

Accommodation for two nights and local return transport will be provided
